Hammock: One of my favourite items we took to the boat, from our days of camping, was a hammock. I purchased it in Chester, NS in a little kite shop for around $20 at a year-end sale. Made of nylon with a cord and hook at each end, it easily fits back into its own little attached storage pouch with a draw string closing. It attaches to the fore stay with one hook and the other ends hooks onto a ring on the mast. Since it sometimes wants to take the place of a sail or kite, I don’t usually leave it unattended in the wind nor do I use it at all under sail.
