Yummy! Goes well with sangaria for brunch!
8 slices whole-wheat sandwich bread
4 slices cheddar cheese
4 slices black forest ham
margarine for spreading and greasing
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon each of salt & paper
1/4 teaspoon each of dry mustard & worchestershire sauce
1 green onion finely chopped
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 12 muffin cups.
Make 4 sandwiches with cheese and ham.
Spread outside of sandwiches with margarine.
Put each in 12 squares (3×4) with a serrated knife.
Place 4 squares in each cup with sides facing up.
Mix remaining ingredients together, and whisk.
Fill each of the cups with the egg mixture using a spoon.
Bake for 30 min until golden brown.
Remove and let stand for 15 minutes.
Eat immediately or wrap individually and store in fridge for up to two days.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
