Deep Dish BBQ Chicken Pie

I made this one up once in a pinch after consuming so much turkey post Christmas, I ran out of recipes!


1 batch basic tea biscuit dough (from scratch or use a pre mix) already prepared and let raise a bit.
1/4 onion, chopped
1/4 celery, chopped
1-2 cups chopped cooked chicken or turkey
1 can prepared bbq sauce


Microwave onion and celery until soft.
Combine meat, vegetables and bbq sauce.
Roll out biscuit dough onto a cookie sheet.
Pour chicken mixture on top trying to keep it in the centre.
Roll up side of dough to keep the liquid onto the centre.


Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and reduce to 325 for 15 minutes.  Serve with salad.
